Legally, mead is wine made from honey, water, and yeast. For those of us who make mead, we know it is so much more than that. Mead makers add cherries, we add hops, we add ginger, we caramelize our honey, and the list goes on and on.
Bergen House focuses on making mead that is lower in alcohol content and can be enjoyed as a beer alternative. We know that beer is not for everyone, some people don’t like cider, and most importantly this is one hell of a drink. It’s delicious, refreshing and super approachable.
